WHAT IS COWORKING?
Coworking as a concept exists for over 20 years, but the first coworking space opened in 2005 in San Francisco. In Serbia, the first coworking space opened in 2012 in Belgrade, and the second in our country opened in 2013 in Subotica. Since then, it evolved and through several iterations became the today’s Inspirahub.
Coworking relates to a concept of work from a shared office space and is usually most suitable for people who work remotely or who are self-employed. It offers the infrastructure of a classical office and work environment, where you can rent a table and seat, work on your business but also be exposed to a community of people who often share the same passion, interests, and values. Here you can mingle and get new business contacts or even venture into new projects.

I like a business environment where nothing distracts me so I can be much more productive. As someone who has had the opportunity to work from various co-working spaces around the world as well as a long period from home, I perceive Infostud Hub as a mix of home and business atmosphere. This allows us all to be one big family that influences and helps each other.
Working from a coworking space, instead of working from home, helps me separate my work from my personal life. I am much more productive and better concentrated when I know that I am here to work, and that after a certain time I go home where there is no more work. The other team members from the company are with me in the coworking space, which enables us to collaborate much more efficiently. And it’s great to be surrounded by other people doing their jobs, both for exchanging ideas and for a game of table tennis.
